Titan Selection
Above every standard
Titan is not Platinum graded higher. It is a different category — selected from across the entire harvest for size, depth of colour and structural perfection. The caviar for those who have tasted everything else.
Apex Grade
Above Platinum. Titan represents the absolute peak of each harvest — only the rarest, most perfect roe qualifies.
Exceptional Texture
Larger, firmer pearls with an unmistakable burst. A physical presence on the palate that sets Titan apart from any standard selection.
Rarer than Platinum
Only approximately 5 % of the annual production reaches Titan grade — half the already rare Platinum quota. The most exclusive caviar Eichinger produces.
Guide
Titan Selection Guide
The apex of Austrian caviar — explained without exaggeration.
What is Titan Selection?
Titan Selection is Eichinger's highest-grade standard caviar — positioned above Platinum. It is drawn from the same Austrian Alpine harvest but represents only the top fraction: the largest pearls, deepest colour, and most structurally perfect roe from each batch.
If Platinum is the benchmark, Titan is what exceeds it.
Taste
Titan carries a flavour of greater complexity and presence. The nuttiness is more pronounced, the finish longer and more layered. The pearls burst with a clarity and weight that distinguishes them immediately from any standard selection.
This is caviar that commands attention.
How to serve
Serve at 2–3 °C — slightly colder than Platinum to allow the full profile to open. Mother-of-pearl spoon is non-negotiable. Taste pure first. Titan requires no accompaniment to make its point.
The Selection Grade
Titan Selection is not a separate production run — it is a grade. Each year, a tasting panel evaluates the full harvest at Grüll. Only tins that exceed the already exceptional Platinum threshold in every parameter — pearl integrity, colour, depth of flavour, finish — receive the Titan designation.
Approximately 5 % of annual production qualifies. Half the already rare Platinum quota. The standard is not defined by marketing — it is defined by what the harvest produces.
Availability
Eichinger produces fresh caviar every week. In extremely rare cases, a fish from that week's harvest carries caviar of Titan grade — the most exceptional quality the production yields. When it does, that batch is listed immediately in the quantities it provides. No more.
There is no fixed schedule. No guaranteed supply. Titan Selection appears when the right fish is harvested — and that cannot be planned, accelerated, or repeated. If it is available now, this is an uncommon window.
